Election Spotlight: Homer Village Board

ROGER FAULKNER
What made you run for election or re-election?
Several members of the community asked me if I was interested and thought that I would be a qualified candidate.

What do you think the biggest challenge facing the village is currently?
Continuing in fiscal responsibility and providing a safe, friendly, neighborly community for all to enjoy.

What are your goals for the village for the next four years?
Maintaining a small town atmosphere, while still open to new business startups and helping existing businesses thrive.

What do you think is the role of a board member/mayor?
In addition to being a voice for the community, helping maintain infrastructure and assist with future planning.

What would you like the public to know about you?

I am a lifelong resident of Champaign County and have lived in Homer since 2005.
