Live at St. Joseph Village Board, Aug. 10

I was 15 minutes late. Village board is packed.

Not totally sure why but its public comment time! MY favorite part.

It’s the village administrator’s first meeting.

One resident is here to discuss the house and shed he wants to build north of 74.

Resident is discussing an issue with another resident who has a lot of items in his front yard. The photos show lots of plants and tubs. Resident saying its a safety concern because the tubs are on the sidewalk. The mayor said they are aware of the situation and will address it but it takes time.

I accidentally played a transformer rescue bots video during the meeting because my youngest son was watching it on my lap top. #winner.

Three residents came to talk about it. The sidewalk is blocked another resident said. She has to walk on the street.

Just a note: St. Joseph is making its way through nuisance properties. They are taking one to court and are discussing dealing with others.

Mayor inviting people to come to the festival. #DOIT #Littleprinceandprincessat630friday

There could be a mural going on the side of the post office near the rail trail. #MAKEITHAPPEN

Going over the drainage for Wyldewood addition.

Clark Dietz is here to update us on the sewer expansion.

Getting down and dirty in the details for the sewer plant. I will spare you.

Still talking about the sewer plant. What they are going to do out there, how it will benefit the village- 1200 more houses could hook up to it.

Still talking about the sewer plant. This is not that interesting so… we shall wait it out.

STOP HOOKING YOUR SUMP PUMPS UP TO THE SEWER. (The caps is my emphasis)

Still talking about the sewer plant.
