Every week we ask a village resident to share 10 fun facts about themselves. This week we caught up with Miss Sophia from Gallo Dance Studio. The studio is holding registration for the 2019-20 season tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the studio located at 308 Meadow Street in St. Joseph.

- I was THAT girl that said she would move out of this town after high school… now I live one street away
- I’m extremely afraid of centipedes and millipedes! Spiders don’t really bother me and I had a pet tarantula as a kid
- I have lots of creative hobbies! I work at the dance studio as my main gig, but used to be a floral designer and I love doing wedding and prom flowers!
- I was in the 1st grade when the tornado went through Ogden. I can still recall just about every detail from that day & think about it every time it storms!
- I have a craft room in my basement, where I have a commercial grade vinyl cutter and heat press!
- I love BOWLING! I grew up on a Saturday bowling league and was taught by the best, my Grandpa!
- I have always wanted to invent something… and have had a million different “ideas”…. Just not the right one yet
- I have always loved to dance, but was a competitive gymnast growing up. I also was a cheerleader and even tried out figure skating!
- I was grossed out by peanut butter while I was pregnant but have had an obsession with Reese’s cups since having my baby last September!
- I make up all of my dance routines in my head- usually when I am teaching the choreography to my dancers, it’s the first time I’m actually doing it myself!
