We asked the newest St. Joseph Village Trustee, Dan Davis, to tell us 10 things we didn’t know about him.

My favorite childhood memory is learning to ride my Stingray bicycle without training wheels.
My first pet was named ‘Hotpoint’ and was an English Pointer hunting dog.
The last book I read was ‘Stealing Fire’ a book based on revolutionary tactics for Better Living and Working.
My favorite place to travel to is Northwestern Wyoming. I spent some of my youth growing-up out there in the mountains, rivers and plains. Absolutely breathtaking!
I ran for village board to make a sincere and positive contribution to the management and advancement of our Village, while further serving its deserving citizens.
I love serving with SJSFPD a ‘Strong Family’ of men and women who are dedicated to fighting for and protecting, serving and helping, this great community and our citizens. I began my SJSFPD 9-month probationary training in February of 2017. Completed all mandatory criteria. Received my promotion to firefighter on November 4th, 2017. Continue to attend, train and further certify at U of I Fire Service Institute on a regular basis.
My favorite TV show is Chicago Fire. I trained at the U of I Fire Service Institute with the cast.
My favorite food is steak and lobster.
My favorite dessert is Decadent Chocolate Cake served at Starved Rock Lodge.
While serving on the board I want to build a strong foundation and infrastructures, promote steady growth in the village and work well together with my fellow board members while taking personal accountability.
