Planning underway for St. Joseph Festival

Carnival Arm Bands
Carnival Arm Bands are for sale at Village Hall during business hours until August 7.
The Arm Bands will also be sold at the American Legion Post from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 17, 19, 24, 26 and 31. They will also be sold Aug. 2 and 7.
Arm Bands will also be sold at the Legion Post from 9 a.m. to Noon on July 20, 27, and August 3.
Arm Bands are redeemable on Thursday, Friday or Saturday and are good for one day from 6 to 10 p.m.
Arm Bands must be purchased with Cash or Check.

Little Prince and Princess

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce is looking for children to participate in the Little Prince and Princess Contest. Children must be entering the first grade at St. Joseph Grade School or Prairieview-Ogden to participate.
To participate email noraemaberry@gmail.com with your child’s name, age, parents names. Please also submit a photo. Emails must be received by July 19 at 10 a.m.
Voting will take place from July 22- August 7 at 11 a.m. Voting cups will be placed at the St. Joseph IGA and St. Joseph Dairy Queen. Voting will also take place online on a go fund me site.
The winners will be announced on Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. at the St. Joseph Community Festival.
Dress for the awards ceremony is “Picture Day.”
The winners will ride in a corvette in the community parade and receive crowns. All participants will receive a Dairy Queen Gift Card.

Parade
The parade will take place at 3 p.m. on Aug. 10.
Parade line up will start at 2 p.m. at the St. Joseph Middle School. Only parade entries are permitted on Harlan Wise and in the east parking lot of the middle school. All parade entries should enter the parking lot off Harlan Wise via Peters Dr. All drop offs must be done in the circle drive of the middle school. Parade sign ups must be turned in by Aug. 6
