Five questions with Lindsey Parrish of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”

Tonight at 7 p.m, The St. Joseph Church of Christ will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

We asked Lindsey Parrish, who is Grace Bradley, to answer five questions for us.

Can you tell me about your character?
Grace Bradley is your typical, exhausted housewife and mom who gets stuck directing the church’s Christmas pageant.

What has been your favorite part about the pageant?
The laughs and the kids! I have loved watching the kids work so hard on their lines, but the play is simply hysterical. We’ve laughed a lot!

What do you hope the audience takes away from the story?
I hope it brings smiles, laughter and joy. I hope the transformation of the Herdman family prepares our hearts for the Christmas season and reminds us of what it’s all about.

What has it been like acting with your kids?
They were the reason I agreed to the part. It’s been great to watch them transform and embrace their characters, whether naughty or nice. 🙂

What is your favorite part of the Christmas season overall?
I love “decking the halls” and watching the town light up, but I’m most thankful for the extra time with friends and family.
